What the men are saying about the TKM Meetings…
There are processes
of nature and grace that are so vulnerable to corruption by radical forces.
The men's meetings have given me the radical response that I've been looking
to gain the upper hand in this personal battle to be a pure man of God and
I believe the method to persevere to the end. It reinforces my vigilance
toward sin and toughens my resolve to form virtue. But it is not only for
myself, we need each other. We say that we are "iron sharpening iron."
We are sad at the defeat of one man because it is the defeat of all; we
rejoice in the victory of one man because it is the victory of all. (TKM)

together picking each other up along the way and urging each other on.

As for what the men's meeting have meant to me...it has provided me with
much needed accountability with solid Catholic men who struggle as I do
with the lies about sexuality we have been taught since we were boys. By
studying the virtues and being challenged to apply them in my life to combat
the world's sexual temptations, I have grown immensely. The temptations
which used to constantly lead me down a path of sin and despair have decreased
significantly, and when they come, I now have specific steps like prayer,
calling other real men to check in, etc., to help me avoid the near occasions
of sin.

The men's meetings have been great for me because it is the only place I've
found where I can openly and candidly discuss my struggle to remain chaste
in light of my Catholic spirituality; I had previously only attended 12-step
programs where I could not openly speak about my relationship with Christ
or the Church. It has been a place where other men struggling in many of
the same ways that I do have shared with me how they work to develop and
maintain their virtues by way of prayer, the sacraments, and accountability
to other Catholic men. I am certain that being a part of this group has
helped me to be a better husband, father, and Christian.
